Changes to the Psychology Degree Beginning in the Fall of 2012

Two new Psychology degree tracks are now available to students - a new B.A. degree and a new B.S. degree in Psychology.  Students majoring in Psychology need to select one of these degree tracks.

The Psychology Department will continue to honor the earlier major requirements of the B.S. in Psychology to accomodate students who declared their Psychology major at the College prior to Fall, 2012.  The "old BS" requirements are not applicable to students entering the College in the Fall of 2012 or later. 

In addition to the two degree tracks, several courses in the Psychology Department have been renumbered and/or have new prerequisites.  All Psychology students should be aware of changes to courses in our curriculum as they sign up for classes.
